Sonic Superstars brings back the magic of the original Sonic titles that graced the Genesis and Mega Drive, and it does so with a fresh modern twist. As one of the first video game franchises I’ve ever played, I couldn't help but feel a rush of nostalgia and joy.

Sonic Superstars brings back the magic of the original Sonic titles that graced the Genesis and Mega Drive, and it does so with a fresh modern twist. As one of the first video game franchises I’ve ever played, I couldn’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia and joy.

Players can choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, each with unique abilities that add depth to the gameplay. The level design encourages exploration with branching paths, rewarding players for venturing off the beaten track. Controls are responsive, providing a sense of familiarity and precision that fans of the classic Sonic games will appreciate. The characters’ abilities are well-suited to their personalities,

Sonic Superstars offers a variety of modes to keep players engaged. Time Attack Mode challenges players to beat certain times in each campaign zone, perfect for those who love speed-running. Battle Mode, that allows players to compete online with up to eight players or locally with four players. It offers a range of challenges, including races, survival stages, and other exciting competitions. In addition, The game supports story co-op play for up to four players sharing the single screen locally.

Overall, it’s definitely a faithful homage to classic Sonic style of gameplay, and one that embraces its roots while adding modern twists such as new abilities, modes, and enhanced HD graphics.
